    Talking American Snikerdoodles

    Description: Did these come from America???
    Who knows, but also-WHO CARES THEY TASTE GREAT!
    Serving Size: ??? lots i spose
    Time: 20 mins
    Difficulty: Easy

    Ingredients:
    1. 100gms butter
    2. 3/4 cups sugar
    3. 1 egg
    4. 1 1/2 cups flour
    5. 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder.
    Preparation:
    1. Cream the butter and sugar.
    2. Add the egg and flour and baking powder. Mix well.
    Instructions:
    1. Roll into balls and coat in a mixture of 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon.
    2. Place on a greased tray and flatten with a fork.
    3. Cook for 10 minutes at 180 degrees C. Serve hot or cold with cream or icecream.
    4. YUM! told you they taste good

    I have a friend that makes these...sounds like a simple cookie to bake. Thanks for the recipe, I may try to make these.

    My son learnt to make these in school long ago and I remember how we kept making snickerdoodles that year. Tasted so good too. I'd forgotten about that until I saw this topic. I'm definitely going to be making these using your recipe. Sounds yummmm...

    lol good luck-it was sort of the same with me-i made them in food tech at school and for about 2 months, all we could make was snickerdoodles!
