    Cool Easy Home-made Kiwi Lemonade - NICE!

    Description: nice served immediately with lemon wedges and ice cubes. Best served chilled =). Able to be doubled.
    Serving Size: 75ml, if doubled 1.5 litre
    Time: 1hour and 1/2 (approx.)
    Difficulty: Easy

    Ingredients:
    1. - 1/2 cup of white or caster sugar
    2. - 1c Boiling water
    3. - juice of 1 lemon
    4. - 500ml chilled water
    5. - lemon wedges (if wanted)
    Preparation:
    Instructions:
    1. 1. Make the sugar syrup by dissolving 1/2 cup of caster sugar with 1 cup of boiling water. Chill the syrup in fridge for an hour or till cold*
    2. 2. Combine lemon juice, chilled water, chilled sugar syrup and lemon wedges (for added lemon aroma) in a glass pitcher. Serve immediately.
    3. 3. If you are not serving this immediately, put a lid on the pitcher before placing in the fridge so as to prevent vitamins loss. Or serve with ice cubes. Consume within a day if possible.

    this is very nice when honey is also added in place of or as well as some of the sugar

    thanks for the advice murray =)
    we have just had our first glass and it is a gift made in heaven! highly recommend not adjusting the recipe, then again, i dont really know what its like with honey.
    i will try this next time i think =)

    i just made a big jug on friday with three lemons and its soooo sweet! try adding some citric acid to lessen the sweetness.
