    Default Help, need to ID

I recently purchased this unknown little guy from a local nursery which I thought was a mini phal. since it did not come with a tag. But, after doing a little research I came across a picture of Sedirea japonica which looks so similar with mine. Any thoughts??? Right now I re-potted using fine fir bark.

    I appreciate any help.

I think it's a phal too. A nice healthy one with plenty of good roots!

Yeah, when it blooms you will get to see what color it is, but as to a specific name with no flower.... It is a phalaenopsis. When a plant is tagless it is tough because there are soooo many crosses now. It pretty much has to be a species to really be able to know what the plant is. Especially with phals and dens, there are thousands put on the market every day. They are grown by the thousands overseas and importers send them around the country. Tagless an orchid is nearly worthless to a serious collector. Me, I rescue easy stuff and generally only grow stuff easy to grow, so a tag isn't a big deal to people like me. I give them a fun name and enjoy them for their beauty.
    Good Luck

Thanks everyone!!!! Now the waiting game begins to see what kind of flower it will give me. It may have flowered before as I cut a dead stalk after purchasing it, hopefully I don't have wait long. I will keep you guys posted.

    Yep. Leaves are Phal.

It is just a rigorous root grower and most of my phals are producing roots like crazy this time of year.
