    Default Maxillaria curtipes???

    Saw it in my travel to Dalat, Vietnam.In the first time to saw it, I was enchanted by her shape and special fragrant, like as coconut smell and pervasive all garden. This pic i took in this time.

    Yesterday, I on bussiness and saw my friend (who grow more orchids and live by orchids) He gave me a gift, looks like Maxillaria curtipes (maybe another Maxillaria...)? Any advice? I dont know how to grow them. Humid, Temp, ..etc?

    It's Maxillaria tenuifolia. Mine is currently in bloom as well. There is some variability in color with this species. Maxillaria curtipes does not have the narrow leaves that tenuifolia has. Your gift may be tenuifolia as well. The older p-bulbs have a similar shape.

    Thanks RON. Now I know exactly her name. Max. tenuifolia.By the way, an question RON: How to grow it? Demand about the Temp, Humid, Light,Bloom season,..etc?
