Default Odm. spike?

I'm not quite as observant as Lily, but I'm quite sure these little thingies weren't evident on my Odm. when it arrived from RVO two weeks ago. The PB on the new growth is more developed since then, but hardly mature. These be spikes?

LOL! Awesome! Let there be spikes!

Their tips can sometimes get stuck inside the curled part of the leaf in which they're developing, so that one on the left might need some help. Gently uncurl the base of the leaf and let the tip of the inflorescence spring free.

Congrats, Julie!

Freeeeeeeeeedom!

The spike on the left was growing up into the leaf more than I realized.

It's an Odm. Margaret Holm 'Alpine' fresh from RVO, Dana, and it looks like Louis has some more

Julie, If I was able to order from RVO I would have bought one.
But I live in Sweden and if I had to pay for all the CITES documents etc I would end up with a REALLY expensive orchid

Good point, Dana!

Do you have many Odm's or intergenerics? I love 'em!

Julie
