LOL, Louis! You have to vivisect something to figure out how to best grow it? Maybe that's why stuff takes so long for me. I just watch it.

Unfortunately, this guy is the only one I can get my hands on. Chili yields are notoriously small and their culture is so difficult, few make it to this size. (Most are barbequed after knocking over some priceless piece of furniture.)

It's suggested that this hybrid has inherited the worst traits of both parents - it's large, hyper and noisy. Some believe a chihuahua pod parent would net far better results: something small, quiet and docile.

Regardless, because of the difficulties growing from seed, we're attempting meristem cloning.

    Hi Boungie,

These days I let it water itself. Last time I threw it under the shower it got a bit worked up and ran around the house tracking water everywhere and knocking over furniture.

Yeah, that's from the chihuahua in the cross. It's more like scuttles, slithers, scampers. But I consider it running in the sense that it manages to get to all the places I don't want it, faster than I can get there to prevent it!

...maybe I should just say it's younger than I am...
