There's little doubt it will want a lot of sun and be very noisy.

This is still young, so we're not sure how it will develop. The grex was from an iguana pod parent. We're trying different potting media and still aren't satisfied, but have ruled out S/H.

    Tanya,

It was a delicate procedure and required great finesse (lost 2 fingers doing it, too...)

    Cool

Too cute -- I'll take one of those, whatever it's called (what IS it called, anyway?). My 16-pound cat Bubba would have fun chasing it around the house before he finally ate it.
    How much?

Oh dear i,ve seen those on some of my orchids , there is a perfectly natural remedy.Mix up some Neem oil with a few drops of garlic oil.Smear it liberally on the applicator.I find a 14lb sledge hammer does the job nicely.Creep up on it by tempting it with some KFC chicken & then twat it really hard on its noggin.
This may not be neccesssary because the KFC chicken has a darn good chance of kiiling it first

His named Chili Chiguana (sounds like something they'd serve at Taco Bell). We call him Chili for short.

16 pound Bubba would probably just eat Chili's tail (they break off you know), and then eat the KFC bait. So we would have to conk Chili with the sledge hammer, but the Neem/garlic oil doubles as a marinade and well...he just might make it to Taco Bell after all.

We've found those on our plants as well. We found them to be very cold intolerant, so if you just add some ice cubes to the pots they will go away.

BTW, I asked hubby if the Chinese eat iguanas as well, and he said maybe, if the back is facing the sky, its edible. I wonder how it taste...lol.

Julie, do you have any of those left still compotted? If anyone needs more info on them, I happen to have a vivisection tray and will be more than happy putting it to good use and becoming an expert at their culture.
