Default The tiny orchids are back...and so am I

Last year I posted about a lily I'd bought at an orchid vendor friend of mine. I found tiny little flowers growing and someone here id'd the plant as an orchid. I was afraid i'd killed it as I broke the flower spike off and what looked like part of the plant when I tried to photograph it. Well, no worries; it's back and this time it's brought a few new friends too...I was wow'ing at all of them. And it's so funny...you'll notice I use this plant to throw old plant junk around. They seem to like that....

My dendrobiums, moved around the other side of the house, are spiking like crazy. Guess they like all that afternoon sun after all! Now if I can get the food right I'll be in den heaven!

We had a wedding to go to in Michigan...aka the great frozen north...and we are soooo glad to be home!!! My other half got bit by something and ended up in observation at a hospital for a day, with an IV bag drip of antibiotics going into his arm. It turned out to be one nasty bacterial type infection. He's lucky it got caught so soon... Did I mention we are like so bleepin' happy to be home?! lol Phew...don't let me go and do that again?! K... I need to stay home and just hang with you all. I'll be back....right after a couple days of hibernation. zzzzzzzzzzz

    Missed U All!

    Smile Time for blooms....

The tiny little orchids are getting ready to bloom...since they are so tiny, normally I've missed them like this. This time I've been watching them and I was rewarded today with these...

I'm now counting 8 or 9 growths, and the one transplanted to my front flower box is growing well with no shock from replanting! Not bad as the first time I found this orchid there were only two small plants. I hope they continue to thrive! As these flower spikes grow I will continue to post pictures...
