    i will suggest charcoal or perlite mixed with cocochips....charcoal/perlite as anchor whilst cocochip to retain some moisture, the ratio between char and chips depends on your growing condition, if you're heavy handed waterer, use more charcoal, if you have low humidity, more chips. Or just use coarse grade bark mix . And dont forget to keep the new growth and eyes above the medium, they could rot easily. To boost new growth, you might add some caliandra hummus topping, or spritz some very dilute superthrive sometimes. Good luck, hope your dendro recover and blooming soon

    Thanks dawn for your help. I will most likely use charcoal/perlite/cocochips as you have suggested maybe with a little bit more cocochips. Its very dry and cold here in the winter and im not a very heavy waterer. Im a crazy mister Um Ive never heard of caliandra hummus before?? yet middle eastern hummus is very
