    Default Dendrobium aggravatum

LOL...I had 2 D. lindleyi, formerly known as aggragatum. The other one bloomed like clockwork for me every spring. I divided it and gave both pieces away. This one, although I have treated it with the same culture, refuses to bloom for me.
I am doing the plant torture treatment this year...lol...I gave it full sun all summer...look how nice and yellow it is Well I also forgot to bring it in, with all that has been going on in my life so the poor thing has now gone through a few heavy frosts. Fortunately it was under the house overhang so it was protected. I can see only one leaf that may have gotten damaged. It is now in a south-facing window where it will get a cool bright winter rest. I will withhold water from now until it spikes, come the spring and it better...lol.

I used to have a mounted one these guys. I "tortured" it every year and it never failed to bloom. Spent all summer on a hot fire escape and the winters hanging in a cold bright window and only watered once evey two weeks.

I hope it works. I just got a small one and I'm going to give it a rest this winter and hope for blooms in the spring. Good luck!

    What a nice size plant!
Well, if the torture by full sun treatment doesn't work, I think you need to consider giving up and sending this baby to Brooklyn

It appears to be pot bound.... And the leaves are yellow enough so it should be getting enough light.... Fertilizer? maybe winter rest?

I think you gave it the right treatment! I had one which was so stubborn with me, but when I moved here and gave it to my brother, it bloomed... just because I think he didn't care about it!!!
