    Default Cattleya walkeriana

    This is my first one of these guys. It's new growth is kinda skinny. Possible spike? It's not an alba.

    Give the new lead time to develop. It should plumb as it grows and matures. The flowers will come from the top of the new pseudobulb at the base of the leaf.

    walkeriana does not bloom like regular catts. it actually sends up a side spike. Not sure what it looks like.

    Yea, I tried the same thing. Lot's of photos of blooms but zero of spikes.

    It looks really happy though...nice roots growing into the tree fern!

    Hope you do see a spike soon.

    Wow what a nice raft. Are you sure its tree fern, cause it looks like synthetic stuff made of plastic to me.

    Yes, that new growth in the left side of the photo will mature and bloom for you. It looks really healthy. Nice growing.
