    Talking Encyclia order

I had been looking for some nice Encyclia's, but couldn't find locally the size plants I wanted for a reasonable price. Encouraged by Shannaras recent posts, I placed my order. Wow...got my box today and am very happy!

First; on the left is Enc. Andendocarpa and to it's right is Enc. Alata and that one's got a spike. It's not a huge spike yet, but it'll grow. lol

    This is Enc. Blezensis

This monster is C. Fascellis X Enc. Cordigera and it also has a spike, this one has buds developing already.

Wonderful buys there Connie! None of the stores around here carry encyclias and I want one very badly. Hopefully they will have a good selection at the show coming up. I do indeed like the plump p-bulbs on them, it just makes them look so healthy and vigorous!

Default C. Fascellis X Enc. Cordigera

I got the first two blooms open on one of the Encyclia that came in spike...the other spike is growing nicely and has huge spots of orchid honey on it.

The other encyclia I ordered has a nice spike growing...

And a miricle! This is a plant I bought when Margarita and I went to the greenhouse and it's also in spike! I almost lost this one a couple months ago, then it recovered and spiked.

    Default In Bloom...

Two of the encyclia plants from this order have been spiking out for awhile, and this morning I found the Andendocarpa and the Belizensis popping open those buds. I think they are both beauties, and I am so happy I was able to bloom them. The Andendocarpa only had three buds, while the Belizensis has 4 spikes!

    First the Encyclia Andendocarpa:

    Next; the Encyclia Belizensis

    Enc. Beliznsis plant and spikes...

And the Andendocarpa...small yet elegant and growing like a weed!
