    Default Dendrobium amboinense

just got Dendrobium amboinense in the post. The plant seems to be a division with only two pseudobulbs and looks a little sorry (sure it will establish). When I checked, I saw that flower buds are forming (still tiny) and did a bit more research.

Came across this interesting article: seems I got myself a little treasure, that has the drawback of opening their flowers just after midnight with the flowers fading rapaidly in the afternoon. Sometimes it is worth researching up-front.

Still, am looking forward to it. Will need to make it an event when it finally flowers: a bit like Selenicereus grandiflora & Diplocaulobium validicolle (although my plant flowers at least once a month for the entire year)
