Brassia crossed with an Oncidium= brassidium. Treat it like an oncidium.

Looks like a healthy plant! I bet it will have fragrant blooms too. Many oncidium/ brassias do.

    Cheers,

cool, i dont think any of the orchids i have are fragrant or i'm just not good at noticing their smell. I have noticed that cattlea's are fragrants and they are one of my favorites but i dont grow them yet because of their light requirements but soon i will give them a try

I just received the same plant for my birthday. I noticed a faint scent at first. But can't seem to smell anything now. I was considering putting it in semi-hydro too.

Nice. Hope I get the same results. There is a hydro store nearby that I will check out soon.
