Yes Randy is correct on that. Most tubelariums like cool environment where they get most of their water thru the humidity in the air as fog. They like to dry out easily and don't like wet feet. They like bright areas.

Although like me I have some Tubelariums that have somewhat acclimatized and appear to be growing well in my grow area .... however getting it to flower is an entirely different story altogether.

Nice, big plant you got there Boy eh. Are you sure its Rhopalorrachis 'coz the leaves look awfully big to me. I'm not really sure if that particular species grows leaves that big.

    Cheers!

    Hi Boy,

I agree with Jojo that your plant is not Tuberolabium rhopalorrachis. The flowers of T. rhopalorrachis are star-shaped, whereas the illustrated plant has flowers of a much fuller shape. I think your plant might be T. quisumbingii.

    All the best,

    Jim Cootes

    thanks jojo and jim

i have second thoughts of this already as T. rhopalorrachis as claimed by the trader where i bought it, when i saw the flower i try to do some searching and i found out that it is more closely like T. quisumbingii than T. rhopalorrachis
