A little over a year later and here she is...she's grown quite a bit! Still a long way to go before blooming though... Fertilizing this year (as opposed to pretty much forgetting to do so last year) should contribute to more rapid growth
I saw some people have used leca or other clay media in regular pots for catts since they like to have lots of air around the roots. Would it be too soon to pot this in something like that? Being a seedling still I'd expect it needs to stay a little bit more moist.
Actually, it's an "older teenager!" I would not be surprised if you get a spike this Fall...Betty

Lovely choice! This will be a soft powdery blueish lavenderish flower. Can't wait for the blooms!
