    I never knew spikes got quite that long. I like the Dendrobium blooms and the frog. Kinda like 'Beauty and the Beast'? Thanks for posting these Connie. AL

    This is the main reason why I don't keep schomburkias ..... because of their propensity to become HUGE! They won't fit in my grow area including their high light requirement.

    thats awesome!!! i cant wait for mine to be one year older...the spike on mine is only a wee 4'...maybe next year it will be monster like that!!! love the frog and sure do miss them road trips to florida!!!

    Fortunately they are not all that big - depends on the species as well as how magnificently they are grown... the two I have flowered have had spikes a mere couple of feet long. Mere tiddlers !
