Default Neofinetia 'Buak' & 'Dongchuldo' on mopani

Neofinetia 'Buak' has roots that helped decide which mount it was mounted on.

There was a clear left/right split which enabled me to spread the roots into two hollows on the first piece of mopani.

In less than a minute the neo was on its new home.

'Dongchuldo' was just as easy. although only one side is shown here this piece of mopani can be turned from the dark side to the light side and each side looks as good as the other, I think.

There's only 'Hwanguemgeum' (right) left to mount and I'm sure that will be just as easy.

Those look great! That wood was just perfect for these, and you have such a good eye for finding the right mount, the right plant, and the right place on the mount. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I looked hard n long for those pieces of wood and finding it hard to find others. A lot of mopani suppliers here wont photograph each piece so you have to take pot luck. I wont buy from them tho'. I do tend to weed it and reap as it were LOL.

    Thank you, Dec!

I decided that, as usual, I couldn't wait to get a plate stand for the large piece so I quickly set to making a stand out of an implement used to lift a basket out of a steamer! lol. I took the handle apart and with a couple of swift bending moves I made a stand - that works! - in about 30 seconds LMAO!

Wow wonderful Neo and more wonderful mounts. You really have a good eye and access to great looking wood for mounting. Can't wait for the Neos to naturalize on the new mounts. Do keep us posted.
