Hi there Anakcili , it's been since xmas that I had this cutting that my friend gave me so I can't claim to be an expert. She took it out of the earth so I put mine back into some soil since I have to grow it in a pot . The only time I remember mine looking shriveled and stressed was when I first got it and it was out of media for a few days but as soon as I put it in the pot and gave it a healthy watering it plumped right back up by the next day . Also I don't know your growing conditions but I water mine almost everyday and it sits in all day sun also . Don't know if this helps any .

Hi anakcili. Sounds to me like the roots are not healthy. Are the roots white and firm with green/reddish tips? where are you located and what is your potting medium/watering and fertiliser regime/position of the plant? How tall is the plant?

The problem is the leaves of this plant look shrivel and root looks dry.
One of the plant top leave is very soft with light green in colour.
Not sure if this plant is dying?
    Hope you can advise.

    Sorry paphioboy
I am not trying to hijack your thread.
I grow the teretes in pots in much light. I pot them in either lava rock or plain cypress mulch (the cheap undyed type) If I had new cuttings I would first let the cut scale (heal) over by just leaving them laying out before potting. I would them use the lava rock and keep them watered several times a day. The rock will allow the plant to dry out. It is not unusual to loose a little of the bottom of the newly cut plant if potted directly.
