    Default Vanda keikis

As much as I love to watch buds to develop, I like to watch those keikis to grow. There are a few of them have started showing their offsprings.

    Vanda Arjune ( V. Mimi Palmer x V. tessellata )

    V. insignis x V. Mimi Palmer

    Ascde Blue Tahoudin 'Bronze Grape'

    V. Kultana Fragrance There are two of them already and two are coming.

Cathy, I just realized that I have LOTS of Mimi Pamler hybrids. You and I have a good taste, don't we?

    Thanks, Matt.

Now that the energy goes to grow those babies, I wonder this will keep them from producing SPIKES.

Well it looks as if you will have new Vanda's soon. That means more blooms.

Great culture, Naoki to get all those keikis. It's always exciting to see all those 'eyes' coming out.

I have many keikis on some of the really large plants. I read an article (which I'm trying to find for you) that strap leaved vandas will produce keikis if the lighting is insufficient. I know that some of mine get shaded by neighboring vandas and those are the ones that have produced many offshoots.
