    Wink Vasco. Prapin Blue...keikei time

I bought a large Vascostylis with several keikeis back in June. Two of the keikeis had ample roots so recently I removed them from the parent plant. One I put in a wood basket, the second I hung from a metal hook. The one in the wood basket does seem to be growing new root faster. But, neither are doing badly. I'm kinda proud of myself...the vandas here are thriving for a change.

If I ever get up the courage to cut away the basket from my other big vanda, there are about three or four keikeis to remove off that one as well.

The main plant was looking stressed. I've been babying it along and don't want it to die. I had to leave one up top as it didn't have big enough roots. I moved the parent plant into a shadier area that gets alot of mist to try and give it a rest. I will give it a soak this week with rain water and a little seaweed fertilizer. Maybe a little honey as well. It'll be looking better in no time.
