    Anyway, here is the haul.

Thanks Randy. I am really excited about the Stanhopea candida. I fell in love with that orchid when I saw the one Zain posted a few years ago. I couldn't believe I was able to get it and the Laelia purpurata both!

    cheers,
    BD

Nice haul, Bruce. You go to the OS orchids auction and were not planning to get anything. That is simply silly.

Well, I didn't have any cash with me, but I did just happen to stick my check book into my pocket as I left the house. I was 'mostly' going to be the co-auctioneer.

    cheers,

Funny how the checkbook always gets stuck in the pocket/purse at the last moment

    Great purchases!

Congrats Bruce finally you got it I think you need to change the pot not suitable for this species by looks at the plant anytime if you are very lucky it will bloom for you. Very healthy plants indeed.

Thanks Zain. Yes, All three plants will be repotted. The Stanhopeas into wooden slatted baskets and the cattleya into a round pot with large medium.

    cheers,
    BD
