Default Angraecum sesquipedale - update on buds gowth

This is Phillip's coming home present as of today. The nectaries are about 6" long and growing fast, but we can't believe it's actually going to bloom! Still, this is fun to watch.

The full view shot is a little too much from above the plant to give the right perspective on lengths, but it's late and I still have a lot of housework to do before the apt complex comes to pressure-wash our deck at 8:00 a.m. Seems a little sadistic of them, to me, anyway - we have to move EVERYTHING into the living room - Phillip's bonsais, shelving, pots, chairs, rain-catching containers.... and Phillip still isn't feeling too well, so it's yours truly at the helm of this foundering ship....
