    Default Angraecum magdalenae

Here is the Queen of Angraecum.

As I repotted the plant about 10 years ago when there were 3 growths, the entire plant literally stopped doing anything for a few years. Then all of the sudden each growth started producing keikis. There are, I think, 5 new growths coming up so far. As you might see on the right, the first bud is about to open. I also notice a few more hidden spikes. I wish they all emerged and bloomed at the same time.

Trying to take better pictures of the whole plant, but it is not photogenic.

Looking great, Naoki. I bet this orchid will be stunning when in full bloom. Very healthy.

Great growing, how do you treat it- Watering schedule? I bought a Angraecum Leonis in April and it has not done well for me at all. I have re-potted it and water it once a week now but it looks wrinkly and some leaves from time to time get brown and fall off. I tryed to water it more in the summer but nothing had changed. Can you give me any advice?

Hi, Gabriela. Since the Ang. leonis does not like me after I tried to grow it twice in the past, I have not tried since.

Its leaf being wrinkly, I suspect, means that it is not getting enough water, which probably is because it does not have enough roots. I heard that it does do well with mounted. Since you live in FL, you might want to try it.
