My angraecum sequispedale also has some of this black dots but they aren't getting any bigger. But it would be a good idea to treat it with a fungicide like Rose suggested just as a precaution. You wont be able to get rid of the black dots unless you cut off the leaves bu-t if its not spreading then let them be, even though they can be an eye sore! When i bought mine it was planted in a bark mix but i replanted into a basket with A LOT of sphagnum moss, I usually water it every other day letting the roots dry off a bit but now all the way. I notice if you let the roots dry too much they will shrivel fast and eventually die so keep them slightly moist at all times. It gets vanda light and it's thriving; I have a spike and it will be the first time blooming =). As far as I know these can get BIG. The leaf span on mine is between 9-11in long.
the black spots aren't spreading. the new leaves are spot free so i guess that's good!
