    Default Oncidium Ornithorhyncium In Spike

There were two flowers in bloom, but as you can see they were low in the basket, so I tried to elongate the spindly stems one to many times and broke the two blooms off. Still at least twelve buds to open. I love the lavender soap smell of these small flowers. Considering their size it is really quite pronounced. Will post again when the blooms open. AL

Butter fingers! Lol. Anxious to see the blooms. I am glad there are others like me you can't leave well enough alone and end up messing things up. You and I sound like we would be a good Laurel and Hardy or the male equivalent of Lucy and Ethel. Lol

First two attempts were like fine brain surgery. The third try was a complete failure..............Oh well at least my 'patient' did not die. AL

I moved recently one of my little orchid and the flowering stem broke - I thought I would cry. I think we've all done it like that. I'm looking forward to see some blooms pics, so keep us updated.
