I had a brain-fritz day yesterday and bought two orchids I have no familiarity with and can't find information on what to do with them. The first one is this maxillaria (ignore the badly-shot point-and-shoot photos - I wanted to get it posted quickly).
Anyway, I think it's named after David Hunt, was only identified and described in 2008, and there's an article in Orchid Digest by Eric Christenson on it (who, I assume, named it), but I don't have that article and the plant is not even IN any of my species encyclopedias. So I need some HELP!
Here are a few shots of the plant.
Does anyone have one of these? Any help with this would be so much appreciated.
It is a cool orchid plant, Maura. Hope someone can help with your question.
