    Default New Masdevallia veitchiana!

WAHAHA! another new one..Masdevallia veitchiana ("Pacific Giant x "Bolin") Repotting went of without a hitch, lots of healthy roots, growths, and even a flower spike! I've grown this species in the past, and this one looks far healthier than the last one I got, so I'm eager to see it take off. It's potted up in live sphagnum and lava rock now.

Thanks, I figured I'd try growing this one in a mix similar to what I use for Nepenthes, seeing as they both come from similar conditions in the wild and appear to have similar water needs. I'm eager to see the blooms on this one..my old one was the "Prince de gaule" clone, and this one is seedgrown, and from the pics I've seen of it's siblings, the blooms may even be larger and more vivid.

I was wondering when you were finally going to get that one.
