    V. Pachera's Delight - I have several of these, and when I showed this particular one with one spike last year, I called it "Midnight Magic". Doing an overhaul of a line of Vandas today I found it again - with 3 spikes developing nicely. I have never had three perfect spikes on one plant - two yes, but three no. On the odd occasion I have had three before, the flowers have blasted, or buds dropped or something. Maybe again - which is an excuse to show it now before it happens ; then you can all cross your fingers for me...mine are already getting tired with being crossed for a few hours ! and there are a few weeks to go, I think.

I like that, I have only one that has ever had three spikes going to be open at the same time, when they do it looks majic with a great bouquet of flowers

Amazing. I've never had three spikes. Now I'm going outside to throw some rocks at my vandas.

I, for one, see no reason to cross any fingers - those spikes look like they'd last through a trans-atlantic gale. Looking forward to seeing the full extravaganza.
