This is just like waiting for a baby to be born! I couldn't believe it had that loooooog of a spike! Well grown orchid, Natali. I will enjoy looking at a picture of it when it blooms...Betty

Very impressive orchid- we have never seen a flower like this one- well done. We also have waited quite a few years for some of our collection to flower. We bought a Vanda from a UK Orchid show and waited four years (just as you did) for it to flower-although it has been described as "easy" to us we find it not to be so! Two further years have gone by now, since the Vanda last flowered and it seems to be still resting- However we do have lots of Phaleonopsis that never let us down!
We look forward to some more pictures of your amazing plant..
