    Default NOID Cattleya

Picked this little one up over the weekend for a great price. It's evident that it has bloomed before, but the woman at the nursery couldn't tell me what it was, and it doesn't have a tag. I brought it home and repotted immediately as it barely had any media around the roots - but to my surprise the roots were very healthy!
Probably won't get an ID until it blooms, but I have a few other questions:
What's the deal with the darker reddish spots on a couple of the p-bulbs? Is that something to be concerned about?
Are these new "nubs" growth or spikes? The only other Catt alliance I have is a Blc, and when it puts out new growth it doesn't look like this. But, that one hasn't bloomed yet (still young) so I don't know what the spikes would look like.
    Thanks in advance!

Nice healthy Cattleya, the nubs you see are active new growths. The plant will flower from the top of the pseudobulb after it completes growth.

    Thanks!

It just now occurred to me that the spike question was kind of silly, seeing as the old spikes are obviously from the tops of the pbulbs, and I know that's how these kinds of orchids bloom lol. Was having a blonde moment I guess haha!
