Default Finally Found this Cattleya Orchid!

I have longed for this Catt. for many years. Just a beautiful Semi-Alba that I saw many years ago in a collection and lusted over it for years! There is a nursery in Calif that was the only one that had it and I just refuse to purchase from them. I've written countless emails inquiring to many other nurseries in Calif. asking if they had a division. This is a very popular plant in Santa Barbara and it should be easy to find? Or so I thought. I would torture myself a few times a month looking at photos of it. Finally, after about 5 year search...I FOUND IT! and it is now in FLORIDA!

This orchid gets monster sized and very rapidly from what I've read. If you buy a division out of Santa Barbara they are divisions from the original plant. I found it in Santa Barbara.

Very nice. It's always great to finally be able to obtain a sought after plant, especially after searching so long! I know you will grow it beautifully, as usual.
    Best,
    Tony
