    Smile Leaves and spikes and roots, oh my!

    It is definitely Phallie season here - I have teeny tiny spikes on several, but this one seems to be growing everything at once!!

    This one bloomed from January to July this year and I really expected it to take a bit of a break, but I guess it has other plans... Not that I'm complaining

    I admire people how get enthousiatsic about new growth in their orchids! You're a real hobbyist!
    And yes indeed this one looks like it will have a lot of reserves for giving you good flowers in time!

    I have to admit, nice looking growth is as satisfying for me as flowers are! And the effect beautiful flowers should have is completely ruined if the foliage or roots are poor or in distress.
