Thanks Diane! I guess it's not that bad to grow it outside. I can put it behind the house where it gets only morning sun until noon. Temps go up to high 90s on extremes--can get that high in mornings too. In shade it's usually a bit cooler. Summer is quite humid, esp. with lots of thunderstorms. One thing I worry is leaf burn--though cyms sound kind of tough though. I'll have to watch out for bugs--each year there are waves of beetles. I just hope they don't find orchids delicious.
