I saw the moss were very thick there for short period is ok but my worry if too wet definitely is not good for the vanda roots ultimately the healthy roots getting rots very fast my suggestion if you see the new roots slowly remove the moss actually the aerial root doesn't like to be wet for so long..otherwise the basket look awesome to me congrats Marada for very creative.
Hello Kate. I have never potted any of my vandas as they grow roots all along the length of the stem and become quite ungainly in pots. I simply attach the plant with a string or wire to a piece of wood and let the roots hang in the air. And I've never had any encounter with root rot.
