Default new leaf on phal naples nights

I'm excited to see this little plant coming along nicely. I bought it after its first blooming cycle this past summer, so I've never seen it in bloom. It was such a tiny thing, and now the leaves are beginning to turn downward and a new leaf is growing! I can't wait to see a new spike~hopefully~if all goes well. This little orchid LOVES the misting. I mist it three times daily and if not, the roots are none too pleased. It seems to prefer taking its moisture almost entirely through misting instead of weekly watering. Although I still do water weekly and fertilize every other week. Okay-first shot X marks the spot below, but you can't see the new leaf too well. Second shot, you can see the new leaf but I don't know what's up with that purple coloring to the leaves because that is not how they are in person. You can see its true color in the first shot.

Good deal Lore , looks like it is comming along .
I would like to make a suggestion , it looks like it needs to be potted deeper up to where the roots come out , also in smaller bark that is why it is drying out fast and not getting enough from the roots in the pot , I hope you are not offended by what I said . Gin

    Hi Lore,

My first thought was the same as Gin's. Get the root crown under the mix. It may throw aireal roots, but they shouldn't be the primary roots. The major root system should be down under.
