    That's is its final form before breaking open and releasing the seeds. Notice that the bottom part is already beginning to open.

    The crumenatum sends out many offshoots Bill and I'm not even sure if these come from seed but I think they are keikies. Besides, I don't think I have the patience to wait for an orchid seedling to mature.

    This dove orchids also native to South East Asia and they are very easy to grow from the seeds as long as the place very conducive for them to multiply, surprisingly quite a number of variations like pink splashes were found here in Malaysia. Interestingly although short life the smell is fantastic, very nice photo Angel.

    I haven't seen one with pink variations yet, but I agree with you Zainal. It is one of the most fragrant of orchids. Even before I spot a single flower, my nose would already tell me that the crumenatum is in bloom.
