The catasetum is just starting to grow. There is a new bud coming from bottom of larger one. Is it time now to water?

Unlike the recommendation above to separate them three stems I guess they are called stems) I put the plant in a pot with large orchiata. As I said above the large one is beginning to grow another stem. Should I separate the three now or is it too late?

I am novice at these too (mine are not yet dormant so they aren't ready to grow anew) but I think it is too early to water and OK to divide now. I think you only care about roots on the new growth.

Hopefully, Ian will confirm my advice.

    Pictures would help!

Well despite recommendation I did go ahead and pot in large orchiata. Now it is beginning to bud. Is now the time to start watering? Also I did not consider separating the three stems. Can I separate them now even though I already potted it?

what are the dilution rate you use for the lysol. i could use some anti algae compound.

I have used about 5ml in 10 liters of water. I had soaked the pots and seems to be ok.

is it a spike or a new growth that is growing from the old pseudobulb (PB)?
if a spike, i would only water sparingly, esp when the bulb shrivel slightly.
if it is a new growth, wait for roots to appear an inch or two before watering

I potted all three in large orchiata. Now the large one has a new growth. Should I start watering now and is it too late to separate? Please reply

Ok. The plant has sprouted. How much do I water. When growing I read it needs a lot of water.
