Default Unknown Dendrobium - would appreciate ID

Some time ago, a member of our Orchid Society gave me a piece of this plant that he had got from a grower when he went to his greenhouse to do some shopping. Neither the grower, nor my friend nor me know what it is. The grower said the only thing he knew was it was a Dendrobium. Can anyone help me to ID it? Thank you very much in advance.

    Dendrobium teretifolium (Dockrilla teretifolia) perhaps.

Respectfully, I think the morphology is wrong for teretifolium or anything else in section Rhizobium (aka genus Dockrillia), I've never seen any of those species grow persistent imbricate leaves like this plant shows. This looks more like a species in the section variously termed Rhopalanthe or Crumenata, though I'm not sure how perfectly those definitions overlap or how they're distinguished from related section Aporum... In any case, going by the leaves and overall plant habit I'd suggest Dens. clavator and junceum as good starting points, with probably a few more possibilities to rule out in the above-named sections.

I agree with you. It's not a teretifolium. A junceum is very close to my plant. Hopefully I can get it to bloom to be sure.
