I dont believe so. The structure is all wrong - too narrow petaline and sepaline structure for wildcat. also the texture (which i cant convey digitally) is very different from wildcat, or bobcat for that matter. The base color of the labellum is a pale cream-white. Not so on wildcat. Also - nonflower related - the pseudobulbs are very fat for a colmanara, as well as the leaves being very wide and leathery.

Don't forget that color changes as the blossoms mature. So the labellum may turn yellow.. Structure wise the blossom certainly look to be a possible wildcat or something similar.. But, seeing the end result is the best answer!

I was just making a SWAG Silly wild-assed guess. Certainly not worth any debate until the little darling opens fully...

It's labeled correctly, Colin! I just checked it out on my orchid database. One and the same!

Note that the Dgmra is its basonym. Its old name. I'm just showing off because I just got the basonym lecture! Its "formerly valid name." Why can't taxonomists bend over and pull the broomstick out? They'd feel so much better...

The genus is now called Bakerara (Bak.)

I, for one, don't have a chance of learning all the new classifications; I was barely starting to learn the basonyms! Doesn't this all just confuse people and discredit the taxonimists to the point of average people ignoring them?

I'm so confused between the basonyms and the nuvonyms, that I have to look up all the Onc intergenerics anymore.

Back on topic, Colin, I neglected to tell you what a lovely bloom it is! Whatever it's called!
