    Default Paph vietnamense in spike



    A year after getting the plant(it was just out of flower) & it looks like it is in spike.Just hoping it does not blast.LS of old growth is about 8" & the spiking growrh is smaller @ about 6".There is another growth 1/2 grown & a new growth just starting to show on the flowering growth.

    Anyone know how long vietnamense typically take from spike initiation to bloom?

    This is my 1 & only Parvi so nothing to compare it with

    Congrats, Steve!

    I bloomed a malipoense x St. Swithin hybrid last August, and the spike was the usual 2 months to bloom. I love the spikes - leaves aren't hairy!
