    So sorry, Julie. Look at it this way - something else is probably going to bloom soon, and maybe it will be surprisingly excellent to make up for the pain of your loss. It sounds like you deserve some good karma.

    Default some more ideas

    Hi,

    we generally use something else here.
    A little plastic clip that holds the wood /metal stick separately from the spike.
    The usual bandstripes that you find everywhere or a kind of a metal ring covered with ruber that hepls pretty much with heavy hanging spikes too.
    There are also those wires that simply hold the spike by holding it to the pending side, that i find perfect for Catt's and small Paph's.
    I post some more pics later to make it more clear.
