    Default One of my babies

I had to bring this little guy home for a little transplant surgery. I am going to work the basket off of it, and mount it to section of palm tree that I had laying around. This particular plant weighs about 60 pounds, and has over 60 psuedos! Food for thought for anyone considering a schomb tibicinis! Deffinently need to have ALOT of room! Enjoy

The first time I ever saw a den speciosum I thought it was a schomburgkia. They look very similar at first glance!

I'll keep that in mind! But I try to be very very careful not to disturb anything. Schombs are really tempermental, and messing with any part of their root ball can convince them not to bloom for up to a year or more! Trust me... I have dealt with their deciet before! They let you think they are going to bloom with their growth... the first year... then you pray the second year... Meanwhile they are reveling in the power that they hold over me Then when they do bloom... It is a wonderful sight to see Makes all of the stress worth while! So anyway... If ones does get seperated.. you have first dibs!

Sweet stuff, your schoms look awesome especially the grex with schom in it! Right now I have a huge greenhouse with nothing really in it... Used for growing tomatoes in the spring, the rest of the year its empty( besides the mounts I worked into an area...)
