Grandmothers sure have a funny way of thinking. My friend's grandmother went to her grave believing that cats sneek in to babies' cribs at night and suck the breath out of them. Wouldn't allow a cat in the house.
Sorry about your blasted blooms, that is what all of my paph's usually end up looking like.

I'm amazed that one night of soaking blasted the buds! I've blasted a few in my time, but never by soaking. Expecially since paphs like moisture. (I know, soaking isn't the same, but still, so quick...)

My grandma came to my new home and asked why we had so many TVs. She thought the two microwaves, dish washer, oven were TVs...It was quite funny. I think she has Alzheimer's and vision loss. I scared to get old now....

My grandmother would not answer the phone unless she had a pot holder or the hem of her skirt to hold it. She would NEVER touch it with her hand. I don't know why. She was born in 1898 and grew up in Germany. Maybe that had something to do with it? Never will know though.

Renee refuses to water our orchids. She has been making sure the humidifier is full before we go to bed though!!!
