You look at what you bought and look at the bill. Then you say to yourself "How did I spend that much?!? Everything I bought fits into one paper lunch bag!" *sigh* [At least when you buy one of those god-awfully huge monsters you can say AHHH, yes, that's where the $ went.] Heck I didn't even get anything in bloom! I'm soooo weak. Pathetically so, really.

Schoenorchis fragrans [& for those who are unfamiliar with this species, this is a blooming sized plant.]

This one surprised me -- I would have expected it to be some kind of Macodes -- it has the same sort of lightning-struck pattern as M. petola ...

Wow, that Schoenorchis fragrans is tiny! I will have to google a photo to see what the bloom looks like.

Maybe you should also buy a magnifying lens when these plants bloom! Man, and I thought that my Ph.Lovely kid was small. This is a new league, the Angstrom Orchids.

And you've got a really good macro lens!
