    It is easier to mount most onc because they have a climbing habit and do not stay in pots.Plus you can get a lot more plants on the wall.

    LOL, Ron, I don't think you are a 'species nut' just an 'orchid nut' hehehe.... I love this one. The photos are lovely too. I have an oncidium similar that keeps growing out of its pot. Maybe it should be mounted, but it would probably die from lack of water the way we have been watering lately.

    It get's watered 2x per week. I just couldn't contain this one n a pot.
