Just the same as before...put it in a humidity tray, ( I assume the orchids ARE NOT IN A greenhouse ) and make sure that the orchid needs water before you water it. I'm assuming that it does have a nice, plump bulb below the leaves, right? Betty :-)

Grow it like an oncidium and keep that humidity up with lots of air movement.

    Cheers,

There is alot of air movement for sure and the humidity is pretty high lol, there is a couple times the humidity goes up to 90% sometimes even 100% but just for a few hours. I try to kee it at about 70% Plus i mist them in the morning. I hope this is enough =). Thanks guys

I have one of those and the bulbs are shrivelling up.. I water it pretty regularly, and just checked the planting material/roots and its' not too dry..I have it in my office temporarily with my phalaenopses (2) and a fern and also a redwood burl with tiny fernlings, so I didn't really have too much control as they don't like the things the Shooting Star does. Should I just try to move it to a brighter window? Somewhere else said it liked a lot of light and air movement, which I still don't know how to get the humidity up for. I guess I should just buy them a humidity tray.

Just use an old baking tray, kitty litter box or saucer, put some pebbles in the base. Then you can fill with water and stit the plant on the pebbles, which keep the bottom of the pot out of the water. Good luck!
