Glad to see you back around here, Tim! I would repot, but not divide your onc. Do as Piper suggests, pot the oldest P-bulb down into the medium with the new growth toward the center of the pot. You will probably need a larger pot. Once the orchid is twice as large, then divide as Ron-NY suggest and you will have two mature plants.

Cheers,
BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Thanks for the suggestions! I have it propped up with sticks now (really not a lot different than the pictures show) and I will pot it with some of the old bulbs in the medium, to stabilize it as much as anything.

Thanks again for the info!

Tim

Will the oncid. arial roots live if they're submerged in medium since they've already adapted to growing in the air?

Sure. They will still need air, but they should be fine.

Cheers,
