I have the exact same fungus on the underside of an encyclia leaf, it was there when I got it. It doesn't cover a lot of space. It hasn't "evolved" within the year I had it. The plant is very healthy and about to bloom. Should I preemptively cut the leaf off? Is there a risk, Clint (you cracked the case!), of it turning into a more spread fungal infection like for Bikerdoc's
phal? Better safe than sorry ...?
