    Default Vanda Question

Can anyone advise on what went wrong with the buds of the vanda in the attached picture? It seems that only one bud successfully opens, and the rest turn yellow, and dry up. This is not the first time, it has happened to my other plants as well. Is it due to bugs or the environment? I live in Manila, Philippines, where the weather is warm, sunny and humid. I have not moved the plant, and temperature does not vary more than 3 deg Celsius.

I was going to chime in but it looks like the pros have got you covered. Down here in central and lower Florida, the humidity loving Vandas are fun. You just have to be prepared for those warmer days when you end up watering them all day long to keep them cool. lol They are gorgeous and hard to resist, but they must have lots and lots of humidity.
